How To Set Up Your VIS With Express Dictate

To set up your Voice Input Station (VIS) to work with Express Dictate, just complete the following steps:
  1. In Express Dictate go to Settings, then choose the Devices Tab, then USB or Foot pedal Control and choose the Voice Input Station.
  2. Click on Test Controller, click 'OK' (to close message), click 'OK' (to close Settings).
  3. The VIS should then attempt to download an executable vis.exe (which your firewall, if you have one, may be blocking).
  4. Once this vis.exe has been downloaded then there should be no issues with using the station.
