Q. How can I purchase Palm Dictate? What does it cost?
The current pricing of Palm Dictate is displayed at www.nch.com.au/palmdictate/register. Click on the "more info..." links to view an explanation of the different license classes.

You can also purchase using VISA or Mastercard at www.nch.com.au/palmdictate/register. You will receive a license serial number which you 'activate' to receive a serial ID and key. After you receive the key, if you have not done so already, download and install the software using one of the download links above then use the "Register Software" item from the File menu and enter the ID and key.

Q. Can I upgrade from a previous version? What is the upgrade policy?
All minor upgrades and bug fixes and some major upgrades are available free. Simply install the new file over the old file. If we introduce major new features or change the registration system, we may require users to purchase an upgrade.

We guarantee free upgrades for 3 months from date of purchase but in practice we often allow upgrades up to 12 months. If in doubt backup your old version and just try the new version. If you purchased more than 12 months ago, you will need purchase an upgrade to the current version. Please use www.nch.com.au/upgrade to view discounted upgrade pricing. You will need to have your previous registration ID and Key to purchase an upgrade key.

Q. Can Palm Dictate run on my Tungsten E handheld?
No, the Tungsten E does not have a built-in microphone.

Q. Can Palm Dictate run on my [name supplied] handheld?
If it meets the stated requirements then it should work. Please download the software and try it for a 14-day trial.

Q. Can NCH Swift Sound help develop a more complex system?
When you download and install Palm Dictate you also install extensive help files that contain the full manual. This can be opened using the Help Contents item of the Palm Dictate menu.

Q. Can NCH Swift Sound modify or customize Palm Dictate?
If you want to suggest an improvement to Palm Dictate or find a bug, let us know at our suggestions site. If we implement the suggestion or fix the bug, we will give you a free upgrade. If you have a specific requirement, we also offer software development services to modify the software. Please visit www.nch.com.au/development

Q. Can I become a reseller of Palm Dictate?
