When I install Pocket Dictate it reports that it is incompatible with the operating system on my Pocket PC, and that it may not run correctly

P. When I install Pocket Dictate it reports that it is incompatible with the operating system on my Pocket PC, and that it may not run correctly
Pocket Dictate was originally written for Windows Mobile 3.0 and the installer does not recognise later versions of Windows Mobile and this causes the message to be displayed.

We have not found any issues with running Pocket Dictate on any version of Windows Mobile. So you can safely ignore the message.

P. I get a Sharing Violation when I try to upgrade Pocket Dictate to a later version
Pocket Dictate is still running in memory on your device. You must exit the program either by doing a Soft Reset or by:
  • Open the Control Panel on the device: Start > Settings.
  • Launch the Memory item from the System tab.
  • Select the Running Programs tab.
  • Select Pocket Dictate from the list and tap the Stop button.
