Can Switch Convert Audible Audio Books

If you have an Audible Audiobook file with a file extension .aa, it may be possible to use switch to convert this file to another file type.

If the Audiobook has a file extension .aax, then Switch cannot open this file.

To convert Audiobooks you must do the following:

1. Install the Audible DirectShow codec.

2. After installing the file, you may be prompted that you are missing some required dll files.

Any dll files you may need can be located at any of the following sites:
DLL-Files.com
DLL4Free.com

After downloading the required dll's, you must extract them if they are compressed, and copy them to your system folder:

C:\Windows\System32

3. Once you have successfully installed the AudioMediaPlayerFilter, and any required dll's, you can attempt to convert your .aa files in Switch.

You need to be the authorized user of the audible book to open or convert the files, and you may be prompted to enter your Audible account credentials when you attempt to convert the file.
