How do I save my file as a new audio format, such as mp3?

Choose 'Save File As' from the File menu. In the Save Audio File As dialog box that opens, open the Save as type: dropdown list at the bottom of the window. Select the new format from the dropdown list. The Encoder Setting window will open for the new format.

The recommended settings are preset; click OK to use these settings or make adjustments and click OK to save the file.
