Access Violation or other crash reported in LMPGSPL.AX

Express Burn has just crashed and this was caused by the third party codec lmpgspl.ax.This is a file that is a part of the Ligos Codecs. To fix this issue
  1. Please upgrade your installation of the Ligos Codecs or even uninstall it if you do not use it anymore
  2. Disable lmpgspl.ax for the current use of Express Burn or Prism.
  3. Search your computer for the location of the file: LMPGSPL.AX
  4. Launch the Command Prompt

  5. Then type in the following string - regsvr32 /u \"path to the offending file"\lmpgvd.ax
  6. Press the OK button.
  7. When presented with the successful pop-up, press the OK button.
  8. Type in the following string - regsvr32 /u \"path to the offending file"\lmpgspl.ax
  9. Press the OK button.
  10. When presented with the successful pop-up, press the OK button.
  11. Type in the following string - regsvr32 /u \"path to the offending file"\lmpgad.ax
  12. Press the OK button.
  13. When presented with the successful pop-up, press the OK button, close all windows and applications and re-boot your system.
