Encoder Options for Xvid Files
This file format can be used by Xvid Certified devices (Devices that bear the Xvid Logo).
Xvid files are saved using MPEG4 compression. You can specify the resolution that the video will be encoded at. The higher the value, the better the video quality.
Xvid certified devices support a certain "profile." Please check your device's manual for that information.
The audio components of Xvid files are saved using AC3 compression.
You can specify an average bitrate that the sound will be encoded at (the bitrate will not be constant). The higher the value, the better the sound quality.
