How do I set up BroadWave?

  1. Click on the Connect button and then on one of the links. Make sure that you can hear the audio stream from your host machine. If not, check drivers etc.
  2. Have someone on your own internal LAN listen to the stream from their computer. This means that BroadWave will have had to pick up the correct WAN (Internet) IP. You can get this from many sources, like portforward.com, or BroadWave will generally pick it out for you.
  3. Finally, after reading the help file and placing your external WAN (Internet) IP in the address, ask a friend on the WAN (Internet) to listen to the stream.
  4. Now embed the link into your webpage. The address you give to people to test should look similar to this...
