How many listeners can listen to my stream(s)?If you have an extremely large bandwidth to work with and a dedicated machine with optimized CPU then you can probably serve 500+ connections. We make the recommendation for 500 based on todays average CPU and bandwidth capacities. The number of listeners you will actually be able to support is limited by your outgoing bandwidth and the bitrate of what you are streaming. For example, if you’re streaming at 128 kbps and you have 256 kbps of upload bandwidth, you’ll be able to support 256/128 = 2 listeners.
