Why does the Windows version convert different files than the Mac version?

For each file format, we implement the conversion tools by the following methods.

• We write the conversion code
• We implement a downloadable component
• We utilize the media library specific to the platform (ie. DirectX or Quicktime)

If a file doesn't convert on one platform but does on another, it is due to one of the following reasons.

• We have not built the component for that platform yet
• The platform specific library doesn't support it.
