Unable to record messages or music

If you have difficulty recording messages or music check that:

* The microphone/CD is plugged into the correct socket of the sound card;
* The correct sound card (Wave In device) is enabled and selected when you open the record box; and,
* The mixer settings for the sound card Record Mixer is set to record from the Microphone/CD. To access the Record Mixer double click on the speaker icon on the task bar then select Options/Properties/Recording/OK.
