Outward bound calls start too early or too late

If the silence detect time is set to 1s the IVM interprets the time between rings as a answered call and starts after the 2nd ring.  If the silence detect time is set at 2s the IVM only starts when the call is answered but there is a 3 second delay before the OGM message begins.

Unfortunately there is nothing that can be done about this in IVM because it uses a software based answer detection.  You might be able to persuade your telephone company to use a different ring pattern on your line.
