IVM does not work when logged on to the same computer through Windows Terminal or Remote Desktop

This problem is caused because IVM attempts to run also on the terminal window.

Solution A.  Set IVM to run as a service. Then use regedit and delete the key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run\IVM. Then restart your machine. This prevents IVM running on the remote logon.
One of the problems when logged on as Remote Desktop is that IVM gets confused about which sound drivers to use for audio on the phone.

Solution B.  Configure the options of the remote desktop connection such that 'sound is left on the remote computer'
