Why does it show "Waiting" instead of "Recording"?

RecordPad is designed to record when a sound is present.  You can adjust the level at which sound is picked up by going into Settings - Record tab - From here you can adjust the voice activate level.  The further to the left the more sensitive to sound the application will be and it will record sounds at lower levels.  The further to the right the less sensitive to sound the application will be, i.e. louder noise will be required for the recorder to activate.
