The volume is too loud or too soft

The volume can be set from Settings.  Note Express Scribe overrides the Windows Volume Control setting.

Ensure that your speakers or headphones are plugged into the speaker-out socket (not the line-out socket), are turned on, and have the volume turned up.  :Some speakers have their own physical volume control which you can turn up.

If none of the above solves your problem we suggest you purchase amplified speakers or headphones for your PC.
