Encoder Options for DivX Files

This file format can be used by DivX Certified devices (Devices that bear the DivX Logo).

Video Compressor

DivX files are saved using MPEG4 compression. DivX certified devices support a certain "profile." Please check your device's manual or http://www.divx.com/solutions/oem.html to see which profile your device supports. If you're unable to find an appropriate profile, try selecting one of the profiles listed under Filter by Profile-->DivX Mobile.

Audio Compressor

The audio components of DivX files are saved using AC3 compression. Audio Bitrate You can specify an average bitrate the sound will be encoded at (the bitrate will not be constant). The higher the value, the better the sound quality.
