The best option is to use a telephone company that offers direct VoIP connections. Just ask them for the SIP logon details (username, password and server) and enter them in the external line settings.

If your current company does not offer VoIP (many older style companies don't because they lose money on them), then research signing up with a specialist VoIP telephone company.
