Can Axon be run from a server behind a firewall or router?

Yes it can, but we recommend you enable the option "Use STUN servers to find external IP Address and Port" option in "Settings -> Network".

This will allow your firewall or router to open a number of ports automatically and therefore allow all VoIP traffic in and out of your network.

If you have run the Network Setup Wizard in Axon and it claims you have a symmetric NAT on your network, then you may need to setup Port Forwarding on your firewall or router otherwise you can get one-way or no audio issues.

More information on Port Forwarding can be found in the Axon Help file.
