I've forwarded the right ports on my router but I can't get BroadWave to work
- Do you have firewalls on your PC and/or router?
- Are you using your public IP address to test? When you type the address into a browser, it should be similar to http://233.33.33.456:88
On the computer hosting BroadWave:
- Go to Start -> Run -> cmd
- At the prompt, type: ipconfig
- You should see the following:
- IP Address...
Subnet Mask...
Default Gateway...
- Copy the Default Gateway address and paste it into your browser
- This will take you to your router
- Set up port 88 to forward to the IP Address listed in ipconfig
- Try using BroadWave again
