I've forwarded the right ports on my router but I can't get BroadWave to work

  • Do you have firewalls on your PC and/or router?
  • Are you using your public IP address to test? When you type the address into a browser, it should be similar to http://233.33.33.456:88

On the computer hosting BroadWave:

  1. Go to Start -> Run -> cmd
  2. At the prompt, type: ipconfig
  3. You should see the following:
    • IP Address...
      Subnet Mask...
      Default Gateway...
  4. Copy the Default Gateway address and paste it into your browser
  5. This will take you to your router
  6. Set up port 88 to forward to the IP Address listed in ipconfig
  7. Try using BroadWave again
