Express Dictate is voice recording software that works like a dictaphone. It lets you use your PC or Mac to send dictation to your typist by email, internet or over the computer network.

This software can dramatically improve the turn-around time for work and, most importantly, lets you work wherever you want. As long as you have access to a computer you can dictate anywhere - even overseas. It is quicker to send, higher quality and more reliable than traditional dictation options.

Express Dictate uses state of the art audio processing and compression technology to transmit audio and includes features such as automatic editing, voice activated recording and secure encryption. It will also keep track of the progress of work and expected completion time.

As an alternative to dictating at your computer you can also use your existing portable dictaphone or other digital dictation recorder while you are away from your computer. The Express Dictate 'Dock' feature lets you transfer the dictation quickly and easily and send it to your typist electronically.

Windows CE and Palm OS Dictation Recorders
The Windows CE (Pocket PC/Smartphone) version of Express Dictate is called Pocket Dictate. For more information about Pocket Dictate see: Dictation Recorder for Windows CE.

The Palm OS version of Express Dictate is called Palm Dictate. For more information about Palm Dictate see: Dictation Recorder for Palm.

Download Express Dictate
The dictation software can be downloaded by clicking on one of the following links: Once download is complete run the file "edsetup.exe" (or open "ed.zip") to install Express Dictate. The setup wizard will then take you through the steps to get started using Express Dictate.

Purchase and Registration
You must purchase (register) a license to use Express Dictate dictation software for each user of Express Dictate. When you license Express Dictate you can also use the license in Dial/Web/Pocket/Palm Dictate (see below).
