VRS records humming/static on some lines when in Voice Activated mode.

It sounds as if your CallURL board is not detecting the open line. The device does this by detecting a variation in voltage on the telephone line.

Suggestions :

* Make sure that your telephone system supports "LC Drop/Polarity Reversal detection"
* Visit www.callurl.com/products/voice8lv.html and download the user's manual. There should be a section on using the "Line Detector". Refer to the section on "Line Connect". Please note that the VRS and any other TAPI software must be closed down completely while running the Line Detector.
