After-download technical and related problems

General Support Questions

• I get the message 'Cannot Allocate Channel' selecting Properties for a line on a CallURL board
• One side of a recorded conversation has a very low volume
• Record volume is very low
• Recording does not start/stop, stops early or is broken into several files.
• Recording speed periodically slows down.
• The audio quality is very poor and has a high frequency sound in the background.
• VRS only records frequencies up to 4Khz but We need to record the whole audio spectrum.
• You hear a hum or buzz on recordings

Email and FTP

• Files sent by email are too large
• Problems when sending automatic emails
• Sending recordings by email fails

Hardware

• After I install a telephony board (eg. CallURL, CAHTA) I have problems with my PC

Telephone Call Recording

• Dialed DTMF digits are not logged
• Solve Caller ID Detection Problems
• The modem / device is not listed under Settings -> Telephony
• VRS records humming/static on some lines when in Voice Activated mode.
• When recording calls only static is recorded
• When using a Call Recording Adapter with VRS my recordings have a lot of static and the audio quality is poor.

VRS Remote Control

• Remote Control cannot control recording
• Set the TCP Port for Remote Monitor/Remote Control

VRS Remote Monitor

• I cannot hear audio for some channels via Remote Monitor
• Remote Monitor does not receive any audio
• Set the TCP Port for Remote Monitor/Remote Control

Purchase or Registration Problems

• Registration code has not been received
• Registration code is not accepted on first installation
• Registration code not accepted after software reinstallation
• Requests for refunds and returns
