When I burn a movie to DVD it will not play in my DVD player but it will play okay in my computer

To burn a video DVD that will play in a DVD player with Express Burn you must make sure that you are burning fully authored DVD folders.

You must add the folders:
VIDEO_TS
AUDIO_TS

that have already been created by your DVD authoring package (you cannot simply create these folders yourself). If you ensure that these folders are present in Express Burn and contain the appropriate files (i.e. files with extension .ifo, .bup, and .VOB), your movie will play on a typical DVD player.
Unfortunately, Express Burn will not author or encode your videos for you, so although you may still burn video files such as .avi, .wmv and .mpg to the disk, a typical DVD player will not play them. We plan to upgrade Express Burn to provide this encoding and authoring in a future release.
