Where are my FastFox shortcuts saved?

All the FastFox shortcuts are saved in a file called 'abbrev.dat'.

For Windows XP: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\NCH Swift Sound\FastFox

Windows Vista: C:\ProgramData\NCH Swift Sound\FastFox

Windows 7: C:\ProgramData\NCH Software\FastFox

Please note: We recommend you use Express Burn CD/DVD burning software or FileFort backup software to backup and store your FastFox shortcuts and other valuable data before rebuilding your PC.

You can also use the the Backup Data function to backup your files.

Open the File menu
Select Backup Data
Navigate to a Destination Folder
Click the Backup button

To restore your shortcuts, follow these steps.

Open the File menu
Select Restore Data
Navigate to your most recent backup folder
Select an option for dealing with conflicts
Click the Restore button
