When I save my mix it creates mpdp file. I cannot play this in any audio player.

.mpdp is the MixPad project file and this would only open in MixPad. To save your mix as an output audio file, select File -> Export Project as Audio file from the main menu. Select the format you want to save to (mp3, wav etc) and save it on your hard disk. This file can be played in any audio player
