On Hold Messages Equipment and AccessoriesThis page sets out the accessories available for messages on hold. Single Line On-Hold Adapter (OHA1)The OHA1 lets you connect on hold messages using a single telephone line. Using the OHA1 you do not need a PBX to play telephone on-hold messages. Simply connect this adapter between your single telephone socket and up to 4 telephones on that same line. You can then put a caller on hold simply by pressing the 2 key on your telephone before hanging up. To pick up the call again, pick up any telephone on the same line. The OHA1 connects to any on-hold audio source including CD Players or the IMS On-Hold Player (see below).
[OHA1OS] ** the USA / Canada / Overseas model does not include a power pack. You will need to purchase a 500mA 12V AC power pack from your local store (cost around $US10). Line Isolation UnitWhere you have a PBX, a LIU is sometimes required to connect between your on-hold source (eg. your computer if you are using the IMS On-Hold Messages Player) and your PBX. Our LIUs are also certified to provide additional protection against telephone line spikes.

IMS On-Hold PlayerThe Intelligent Messaging Software plays telephone on hold messages using a Windows 3.1/95/NT/98/2000/XP computer with any standard sound card. The software runs in the background using the CPU idle time and the buffer on the sound card. The computer can still be used as normal. If you have a Windows computer in your office, this is the most advanced and most affordable way to play on hold messages to your callers when they are on hold or being transferred.
