My recording file cannot be located.

After you have finished recording with Golden Records, the newly created file will appear both in the Golden Records main window and the folder you have specified. If it doesn't appear in these 2 places, then there was possibly an error with the recording. We suggest you try the following:

1. Start a test recording and watch the "Recording Start:" message.
2. If you see a "Waiting for audio stream" or "No audio detected" message, your problem is likely to be related to either your setup configuration or noise floor level.

* If your setup configuration appears to be correct, try manually lowering your noise floor level from the Golden Records wizard.
3. If your problem still persists, please contact us using the form below and include the steps you have already taken to solve the problem.
