A six word description of the software

If you do not want to install your own DialDictate Phone Dictation Server, AltoEdge offers a hosted service where you pay a monthly per-user fee and dial into our phone numbers. We look after the server and phone lines. This service saves you the time and effort of setting up a computer to take the calls.

This service is only available in USA and Australia at the moment. There are plans to offer servers in other countries soon.

How it works: After you sign up you provide us with a list of dictators, their names, email addresses and the email addresses (or ftp details) of each of their typists. If you are a typing company you provide the details to your own company as the send to option. You will then be assigned a list of access codes (one for each dictator). The dictator can call any time 24/7 and log onto the server and record dictation using the keys on their telephone. When they press send the dictation is the emailed directly to the email of the typist you provided. The typist can then type the work using the free Express Scribe Foot pedal controlled player for transcription.

USA Service

The cost is $US385 setup (once off irrespective of the number of users) plus $17.50 per user per month. You pay call charges to a number within the USA. No other charges apply. To setup the service, please complete the form below.

The cost is $AUD385 setup (once off irrespective of the number of users) plus $22.50 per user per month. You pay call charges to a number within Australia. GST will be added. To setup the service, please complete the form below.
