This phone dictation system lets you, and other users, dial into a computer running DialDictate to record dictation. Record, replay, edit and manage files by pressing numbers on your telephone keypad. When you have completed a recording, DialDictate will then immediately send the dictation to your typist for transcription by email, the local computer network or via the Internet.
With DialDictate you can dictate using most telephones. Users can phone in dictation using a hands-free speakerphone or cordless headset in the office, call in dictation on way to work from a cell phone, or even dial in from a payphone overseas. From a single user to a multinational company, DialDictate is suitable for any number of users making telephone dictation a quick and easy option for .

- The telephone that you use must have tone dialing (DTMF).
* DialDictate requires either one or more CAHTA or TAPI compliant telephony devices. Some voice modems are suitable but for professional and multi-line use we recommend good quality voice devices such as CAHTA or CURL telephony boards.

Telephone Line Options
You can use either regular phone lines connected to your PC via a voice modem or a professional telephony boards or Voice over IP (VoIP) lines which connect calls direct from your VoIP phone service company to your PC using the internet. See Sip Service Providers.
Download DialDictate
The DialDictate phone dictation system can be downloaded by clicking on one of the following links. Once downloading is complete, run the setup file. The setup file will automatically install the software. The complete manual is included. Once you have run the setup file, select the Help menu for a guide to using DialDictate.
Licensing Options
DialDictate is free for evaluation and demonstration use only. In order to use DialDictate on an ongoing basis, you have 2 licensing options:
- Either you can purchase an Express/Dial/Web/Pocket/Palm User license for each user of the software (affordable for small installations). The User license can be used with the related software applications Express Dictate, Web Dictate, Palm Dictate and Pocket Dictate (see below).
- Alternatively for large installations you can purchase a DialDictate Site license for unlimited users of one system (user details from a Site License are not valid for other dictation applications).
